Klasyczna Pszenica (Classic Wheat) is an exquisite, light beer produced from wheat grains. Today, it is brewed at the Okocim Brewery according to a classic recipe, using the top-fermentation method. Klasyczna Pszenica is an unfiltered, naturally cloudy beer with a bouquet of apricot, cloves, and ripe bananas. It is the perfect choice when seeking refreshment. The composition of wheat and barley malt will seduce with an exceptionally mild taste. This is confirmed by numerous awards, including silver in the nationwide competition Chmielaki Krasnostawskie 2015. The beer has an alcohol content of 5%, bitterness of 14 IBU, and extract of 12%. Klasyczna Pszenica is best served at 8 degrees Celsius in a weizenglass or a mug.
The foundations of Okocim beer are: a passion for brewing, the experience of brewers, and the 180-year history of the Okocim Brewery in Brzesko. The history of Okocim beer and the brand dates back to 1845, when Jan Ewangelista Goetz founded a brewery in Okocim – now one of the oldest in Poland. Jan Goetz was one of the most prominent personalities in the brewing world of the time, not only a brewer and entrepreneur but also an active local social activist and philanthropist. In his brewery, he used only the best barley malt, hops, high-quality yeast, and water, guided by the principle of "the best of the best." This was his motto, which also guides contemporary Okocim brewers.
